Menopause, and the transition leading up to, menopause is one of the largest hormonal transitions our body experiences. Up to 1/3rd of our lives are spent post-menopausal, and the menopause transition can begin as early as our 30’s. This hormonal transition can have a large impact on multiple body systems and can manifest as an array of different experienced symptoms.

Within this 3-hour educational session, you will learn about menopause and the menopause transition from a body, pelvic, and dietary perspective, empowering you to be able to recognize and take control of your own journey. We believe in a proactive approach to health and are excited to share the information we wish everyone knew!

  • Block Therapy is a self-care version of Fluid Isometrics. The individual lies on a therapeutic tool called the Block Buddy for a minimum of three minutes in various positions throughout the body. Bamboo, Cedar or Elm are used as the therapeutic tool because, unlike artificial materials like foam or plastic, it shares similar density to bone. With gravity and body weight, the Block Buddy is able to sink deeply into the tissue and target any areas of concern. The pressure can bring increased blood and oxygen into the area, warming the connective tissue and decreasing tension in the layers of restrictions. The individual is taught to use diaphragmatic breathing to increase oxygen absorption. The combination of increased oxygen, the freeing of adhesions, proper posture and alignment form the basis of the Block Therapy/Fluid Isometrics System.
